Islam Teaches: Cleanliness is Half of Faith!

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Cleanliness is half of faith.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 223)
SubḥānAllāh!
How beautiful is our dīn — where even purity is considered an act of ʿibādah (worship) and a part of imān (faith)!
In a world drowning in filth — physical, spiritual, and moral — Islam shines with the light of cleanliness and purity:
Purity of the body (through wuḍū, ghusl, and general hygiene)
Purity of the heart (through tawḥīd, sincerity, and repentance)
Purity of speech (through truthfulness, dhikr, and duʿāʾ)
Purity of actions (through honesty, charity, and fulfilling trusts)
The Muslim is taught to keep his body, clothes, home, and environment clean — not just for himself, but because Allah loves those who are pure.Allah says:
“Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.”(Qurʾān 2:222)
Today, renew your intention:
Make wuḍū properly.
Keep your home tidy.
Keep your heart clean from hatred, envy, and pride.
Keep your tongue pure from lying, gossiping, and backbiting.
Cleanliness is worship. Purification is faith. Purity is the path to Paradise.
Ya Allah, make us among Your purified servants! Ameen.
