Truth Has Only One Face — Falsehood Has Many
In every age, truth has always been one path.
Clear. Pure. Straight.
But falsehood? It wears a thousand masks.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“My Ummah will divide into 73 sects — all of them in the Fire except one.”
They asked: “Who is it, O Messenger of Allah?”
He said:
“The one upon what I and my Companions are upon.”
(Sunan al-Tirmidhī, 2641 – ḥasan)
That’s the only face of truth.
But look at the falsehood around us today…
One group says Islam is politics.
Another says it’s all about love and poetry.
One denies Allah’s Attributes.
Another curses the Companions.
One brings philosophy.
Another revives grave worship.
Each one claims Islam. Each one wears a different face.
But they are all off the straight path.
Truth is not in the majority.
Truth is not in popularity.
Truth is not in the sweetness of someone’s words.
Truth is not in political success or emotional speeches.
Truth is only where the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the understanding of the Sahābah meet.
Falsehood never comes in one form. It is always changing. But truth never changes.
So test every da’wah. Every speaker. Every group.
Not by their size.
Not by their style.
But by their alignment with the Salaf.
Truth has only one face. It doesn’t shift. It doesn’t evolve. It doesn’t imitate falsehood.
If what you see has many faces — it’s not the truth.
