The AI Warranty Claim Processor is a complete AI-powered system that automates warranty claim evaluation, fraud detection, and decision-making for businesses handling product warranty requests. Built with production-grade machine learning models, it analyzes claim descriptions, classifies issue types, determines warranty coverage, detects fraudulent patterns, and recommends actions with confidence scoring.
The system uses three trained ML models—Random Forest for legitimacy classification, Logistic Regression for coverage determination, and Isolation Forest for fraud detection—achieving reported accuracy of 100% on legitimacy classification and 93.14% on coverage determination against test data. Training data consists of 510 synthetically generated warranty claim examples designed to improve model coverage while protecting real customer information. The application classifies claims into four issue types (defect, damage, wear, misuse), three legitimacy levels (valid, suspicious, fraudulent), three warranty statuses (covered, not covered, partial), and three recommended actions (approve, deny, request more information).
The complete full-stack application includes a FastAPI backend with RESTful API, React 18.2 frontend with responsive UI, SQLite database with upgrade path to PostgreSQL, file upload support for receipts and photos (JPG, PNG, PDF up to 10MB), analytics dashboard with export capabilities (CSV, JSON), and comprehensive documentation covering installation, deployment, and troubleshooting. Deployment options include local development setup with included Windows batch scripts, Docker containerization, and production deployment with Nginx. The system runs entirely on your infrastructure with no external data transmission.
Technical requirements include Python 3.9 or higher, Node.js 16 or higher, 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended), and 1GB free disk space. The backend uses FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy. The frontend uses React, Axios, and react-scripts. All dependencies are specified in included requirements files.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This application has been fully developed with all features implemented. However, it has not been tested in a live production environment. Buyer should expect to perform integration testing and may encounter minor bugs that require fixing. Basic technical knowledge and development skills are required.
