Can You Have “Rights” Without a Creator?

Can You Have “Rights” Without a Creator?

Can You Have “Rights” Without a Creator?

Liberalism screams “human rights” from every rooftop.

But here’s the question no one dares to ask:

Where do these rights come from?

Who gave them?

And what makes them “rights” in the first place?

If there’s no Creator, no divine authority, no objective standard beyond human minds—

Then rights are just opinions.

One society says: “You have the right to life.”

Another says: “We can abort at 8 months.”

One says: “Freedom of speech.”

Another says: “Jail you for quoting the Qur’an.”

If there's no God, then nothing is truly sacred.

Not life.

Not truth.

Not justice.

Not even your own body.

It’s all up for grabs — defined by power, politics, and popular vote.

Even liberal thinkers admit this:

“Without God, all things are permitted.” — Fyodor Dostoevsky

And that’s exactly what we see today:

— Rights based on moods, not morals.

— Laws made by lobbies, not by lasting truth.

— Human value tied to utility, not dignity.

But Islam flips this chaos on its head.

Islam teaches that:

— Your rights come from Allah, not man.

— Your worth is from being His creation, not from a government label.

— Your freedom is found in submission to truth, not slavery to trends.

Allah said:

“Indeed, We have honored the children of Adam…”
(Surah al-Isrā’, 17:70)

This divine honor doesn’t change with politics.

It doesn’t bow to opinion polls.

It is fixed, eternal, and sacred.

So ask yourself:

Can “rights” without a Creator really protect anyone?

Or is it just a beautiful mask hiding the ugly face of power without accountability?

True rights begin with truth.

And truth begins with Allah.
