The Muslim Brotherhood: A Political Weapon Masquerading as Islamic Reform
As Abu 'Iyaadh Amjad Rafiq حفظه الله correctly stated:
“The Muslim Brotherhood is a combination of Sufism and Shi’ism as a political force and is directed against Tawḥīd and the Salafi way.”
This group is not about spreading the pure Sunnah.
It’s not about teaching tawḥīd, correcting ʿaqīdah, or reviving the path of the Salaf.
It is a political movement rooted in:
— Sūfī rituals, vague spirituality, and emotional manipulation
— Shīʿī revolutionary ideology, obsession with power, and hate for Ahlus-Sunnah
— Machiavellian tactics, compromising the religion for seats of power
Their aim?
To redefine Islam into a social justice tool, a democracy-flavored ideology, a revolutionary engine — all while waging war on the creed of the Salaf.
You won’t find them teaching the books of Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah…
Or the works of Imām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb…
Or the explanations of Shaykh al-Fawzān, Shaykh Ibn Bāz, or Shaykh Rabeeʿ.
Instead, they idolize:
Sayyid Qutb — a mystic revolutionary who insulted the Ṣaḥābah
Ḥasan al-Bannā — who welcomed every sect and innovator under his banner
The Salafī path is clear — built upon Tawḥīd, purification of ʿAqīdah, and loyalty to the Qur’ān, Sunnah, and the understanding of the Ṣaḥābah.
Do not be deceived by activism wrapped in Islamic slogans.
Ikhwānism is a trap — for our īmān, for our youth, and for the Ummah.
