How Every Sect Claims to Follow Islam—But Betrays the Quran and Sunnah

Every sect has the same slogan:
"We follow Islam!"
"We love the Prophet ﷺ!"
"We follow Qur’an and Sunnah!"
But when you lift the veil…
— Qur’an is reinterpreted with Greek philosophy.
— Sunnah is abandoned for opinions of false mashaayikh.
— Sahābah are insulted, or ignored.
— Salaf are replaced with latter-day innovators.
— Weak, fabricated, and even lies are spread in the name of dīn.
And you realize — it’s not Islam they follow, but a hollow shell of it.
The Khawārij said “Qur’an!” while killing companions.
The Jahmiyyah claimed tawḥīd — and denied Allah is above His throne.
The Ashʿarīs said “we are Ahl al-Sunnah” — while denying Allah’s attributes.
The Ikhwān and Ḥizbīs say “we follow Sunnah” — while rejecting Salafiyyah, attacking its scholars, and replacing truth with politics.
And yet every single one says:
"We are on the truth!"
"We follow the Sunnah!"
But the Prophet ﷺ warned us this would happen:
"This Ummah will split into 73 sects — all of them in Hell except one."
They asked: “Which one, O Messenger of Allah?”
He said: “That which is upon what I and my companions are upon today.”
So don’t fall for emotional slogans.
Don’t follow sects that speak about unity — but divide from the Sahābah.
Don’t follow scholars of popularity — but betrayers of authenticity.
The real followers of Islam are those who cling to what the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions were upon.
The real Islam is not rebranded. Not modernized. Not hidden under banners of “reform.”
The real Islam is Salafiyyah — plain, pure, powerful.
So test every group. Every preacher. Every da’wah. Every book. Every page.
Not by how it sounds, but by what it follows.
Is it what the Prophet ﷺ and the Sahābah were upon?
If not — then leave it.
