Let People Witness Islam — Through Your Character
You may give daʿwah with your tongue...
But your character is the daʿwah that never stops speaking.
Shaykh ʿAlī Nāṣir al-Faqīhī حفظه الله said:
“Show the people the excellence of Islam through your dealings with them. Be truthful and fulfill your agreements.”
SubḥānAllāh — this is how the early Muslims spread Islām across continents.
Not through debates, not through force, but through trust, honesty, and noble character.
The Prophet ﷺ was known as al-Amīn before revelation.
People trusted him before they followed him.
So what about us?
Do our neighbors feel safe from our harm?
Do our coworkers see the fairness of Islam in our behavior?
Do we honor our promises, pay our debts, and speak the truth even when it hurts?
Let your smile, your honesty, your punctuality, your silence in gossip, and your justice in trade be the proof that Islām is the truth.
And never forget…
“The blessing is with the elder scholars.”
Stick to their advice. Sit at their feet. Listen to their reminders — because their hearts carry wisdom we don’t see on screens.
May Allāh make us reflections of the Sunnah in our actions, not just our appearances.
