The Bidah of Forming Islamic Political Parties

The Bidah of Forming Islamic Political Parties

The Bidah of Forming Islamic Political Parties

In the name of revival, they form parties.

In the name of Islam, they enter elections.

In the name of da‘wah, they dilute the dīn.

But here’s the reality they won’t tell you:

Forming Islamic political parties is a modern innovation — a bidʿah.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) never formed a party.

The Companions never registered a ḥizb.

The Salaf never built revival through politics.

Every newly invented matter in the religion is a misguidance, even if people think it brings benefit.

These parties split the Ummah.

They compromise with people of falsehood.

They prioritize votes over ‘aqīdah, slogans over Sunnah, and popularity over piety.

They say: “Islamic party.”

But what do you get?

— Ashʿarī kalām.

— Sūfī grave veneration.

— Shīʿī coalitions.

— Liberal democracy with an Islamic label.

This isn’t how Islam is established — it’s how it gets erased.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) didn’t call to politics.

He called to tawḥīd.

He didn’t gather crowds for elections — he gathered hearts for Allah.

The Salafi da‘wah never needed a party to spread.

It depends on purity, not politics.

On tawḥīd, not tactics.

On clarity, not compromise.

You want revival?

Follow the Prophetic path — not the party path.
