The Danger of Speaking Without Verification — A Call to Caution and Truthfulness

Whoever speaks about matters without verification, and without confirming their accuracy, will be overtaken by evil and corruption, and lying will become dominant over him — while he does not even realize it.

It is obligatory to verify matters and not transmit anything unless its authenticity and reality are known. Otherwise, he should remain silent — because he might say something that harms people without knowing or realizing it, or he might convey something that is false and baseless.

So it is obligatory to verify in all matters.
