The Names of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — Full of Meaning, Full of Mercy
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am al-Māḥī (the Eraser), through whom Allāh erases disbelief, and I am al-Hāshir (the Gatherer), whom the people will be gathered after, and I am al-ʿĀqib (the Last), and al-ʿĀqib is the one after whom there is no prophet.”
Narrated by Muslim
SubḥānAllāh… Every name of Rasūlullāh ﷺ carries a legacy of light, guidance, and truth.
— Muhammad — the one praised in the heavens and earth
— Ahmad — the most praised and praiseworthy
— al-Māḥī — the one through whom disbelief was erased
— al-Hāshir — the one after whom the gathering of mankind will commence
— al-ʿĀqib — the last Prophet; no messenger will ever come after him
Yet today, people follow philosophers, poets, and politicians — and ignore the one whom Allāh Himself sent as a mercy to the worlds.
— Know his names.
— Reflect on his mission.
— Defend his finality.
— Love him with action, not just words.
There is no prophet after Muhammad ﷺ. Whoever claims otherwise is upon misguidance and disbelief.
Ya Allāh, fill our hearts with love for Your Messenger ﷺ, and resurrect us under his banner on the Day of Judgment.
