Whatever Happens Was Always Meant to Be… Trust the Qadr of Allah

Shaykh ʿAbdulḤakīm Dahhas (ḥafiẓahullāh) reminded us with deep, soul-settling words:

❝You should know that whatever befalls you was never meant to pass you by. And whatever passes you by was not meant to befall you. And that whatever Allāh wills occurs and whatever He doesn't will doesn’t occur.❞
— 3rd al-ʿAllāmah ʿUbayd al-Jābirī Salafi Conference, Ilorin, Nigeria

Are you feeling defeated?

Are you broken by a loss, a delay, or a door that slammed shut?

Then remember this:

You are not lost. You are not forgotten.

You are exactly where Allāh wrote for you to be.

Qadar (Divine Decree) is not just belief — it’s relief.

It’s the anchor that holds our heart firm while the storms of life rage.

It’s the light that assures us:

Whatever Allāh gives is best,

and whatever He withholds is mercy.

Allāh says:

"No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allāh."
— [Sūrah al-Ḥadīd 57:22]

Trust in Allāh. Submit your affairs to Him. Say:

"Qaddarallāhu wa mā shā’a faʿal."
“Allāh decreed, and what He willed, He did.”

And know:

Your rizq, your health, your trials, your joys, your future —

They were written 50,000 years before the creation of the heavens and the earth.

So breathe.

Be patient.

And walk the Salafī path — upon the firmest of beliefs and the calmest of hearts.
